Why we built the Marketing MCP

We are software developers and run several platforms of our own. We also do the online marketing for them ourselves, with separate Google, Meta, and LinkedIn access for every brand.

At some point we tried handing that marketing over to AI agents that work on their own. At first it was genuinely impressive. After two weeks, though, the agents were changing things nobody had approved. In day-to-day work you simply don't look into every account every day, and our team had no real way to keep the agents in check. That was too risky for us, so we shut the experiment down.

What stayed was the idea behind it: working with Claude across all channels ourselves, but in a way where nothing happens without our okay. That became the Marketing MCP, at first only for our own brands. We improved it with feedback from our first customers, and since Google and Meta gave their approval, anyone can use it.

We still use it every day. If something is missing or doesn't work, write to us. Many features came about exactly that way.
